Mike was a much loved family man who's life ended too early in a motorbike accident on his way home from work. He leaves behind a wife and three children.
Rest in Peace old friend.
Michael, i miss and love you so much. 2 years have nearly passed and it still feels as raw as it did on that particular day. I thought i'd just let you know you'll always be in my heart and those happy memories won't ever fade. Love Emma xxxxx
Another year gone by........now into 2010, but my thoughts still often return to you.
I think of Nia and your children, your mum and dad and family and all those who still miss you so very much, hoping that one day the pain will be easier to cope with and that they will be able to celebrate your life with each anniversary that passes knowing that one day they will see you again.
Thank you Michael for reminding me how lucky I am and for making me see that life is so precious and should be lived each and every day to the full.
God Bless
Susan xx
Thinking of all of you today and sending lots of love your way. I pray you find the strength to push the sadness and grief aside and remember Michael for the man he was - happy, positive, loving and kind. We were all so very lucky to have known him - whether for a moment or for many years. He touched the hearts of school friends, neighbours, colleagues and family.
I didnt know him well but saw him around alot. He was a friend of my brothers when i was just a tot and lived a few doors away from us. He always had a smile to hand whatever the time or day. I knew Nia from dancing when i was younger and wish i could wrap her up in my arms and make all the hurt go away. Such a lovely lady who deserves nothing but happiness.
My heart goes out to Nia and the children on this sad day. I am sure Michael will forever look down on you and make sure u feel his presence every now and then. Whether its when u hear "your song" on the radio, or u catch the smell of his after shave or see his children growing up to look just like him. I am sure he loved you very much and will continue to live on through happy memories and in all our hearts.
XxXx R.I.P Michael XxXx
Hi mike, i know you will be badly missed this christmas, watch over all your family and your children. have a nice christmas in heaven and keep sending white feathers! xxxx
Michael was my uncle and such a lovely man! He will be dearly missed by all the family! I am so proud of him and will never forget the happy times all the family have had together! We went on family holidays every year which are memories that will never be forgotten.
He had a great sense of humour and would always be the one to make a joke to brighten peoples day. I cant believe he's gone but he will never be forgotten.
We all love you so much Michael xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
You were obviously a decent hard-working man and had done well for yourself and provided for your family. All you were doing is coming home from work, it was not your time to leave earth and go to heaven. I never understand why bad things happen to good people. Watch over your family and friends during this painful time. xxxx
I first met Michael when Howard and Heronswood Schools merged to form Sir John Newsom in 1985 and I always remember that he was one of the first ex-Heronswood pupil to speak to me as an ex-Howard student.
He was a guy that you couldn't help but like, with a great sense of humour and I remember having a few boring lessons (particularly German!) livened up a little by one of his jokes or comments. We also used to do impressions of Bert & Ernie from Sesame Street I remember.....
I saw him occasionally at the station, either going to or from WGC into London and I now curse the numerous missed opportunities of spending a couple of minutes to have a chat with him.
To have his life cut so short in such tragic circumstances is terrible and cruel, especially at this time of the year, and my heart goes out to his family, especially his wife, his young children and his parents.
So Sad
I spent many years being closest friends with Michael. He was there for me when i needed help during really troubled times and he knew how to make me laugh and be happy and i thank him for that. I was so shocked to hear the news he had passed. It still hasnt sunk in that he is not here. Unfortunately our paths went in separate directions and very occasionally saw each other in recent years. I grew up with him and have so many fond memories of him that will never leave me. I hope he did as well.
My thoughts and love go out to all his family and especially Nia and the kids.
Iam so gutted we didnt keep in touch for all these years.
It just makes you realise that life is too short, LIVE FOR TODAY as no one knows what the future brings.
You will always be in my thoughts.
Rest In Peace Michaael.
You are sorely missed by everyone that knew you.
All my love
Justin x
I was in shock to hear the news and even now it doesn't seem real. I am devasted for your family and friends.
We hadn't seen each other since leaving school, all those years ago, but it was great we have all been able to find each other again on Facebook - albeit far too briefly.
Rest In Peace.
